Why We Built This Site
Kentucky gives the public access to many court and government records, but the correct office depends on the record type. In Union County, state court case files start with the Circuit Court Clerk at the Courthouse Annex in Morganfield. County-level records such as deeds, mortgages, marriage licenses, recorded wills, liens, plats, and County Clerk open-records requests go through the Union County County Clerk at 100 West Main Street. Jail custody information points to Webster County Detention Center because Union County detainees are housed through that regional facility.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It has no connection to any Kentucky court, Union County clerk's office, sheriff's office, detention center, prosecutor, public defender, or state agency. There are real limits to what this site can provide:
- We cannot file paperwork or submit records requests for anyone
- We cannot issue certified copies of court documents, marriage records, divorce decrees, deeds, probate files, or vital records
- We cannot give legal advice or tell a person how Kentucky law applies to a specific case
- We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, schedule, address, or procedure is current at the exact time a visitor uses it
Only the issuing court or government office can provide an official certified copy. A private reference page cannot replace the Union County Circuit Court Clerk, County Clerk, or other record-holding office.
Search Partners
Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When a visitor uses one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the Union County, Kentucky reference pages available. We do not control what those tools charge or what appears in their results.
